I constructed this mask by painting on a blank child's halloween mask for the Atlanta Comic Con in an attempt to pose as Scarab from David Mack's masterful graphic novel, Kabuki. I felt so feeble when I showed him my mask...it was so dorky compared to his beautiful art and Sandy's awesome tshirt!

Oh well...the shot of the mask makes a wonderful little composition! I only wish the room hadn't been dark as it made my shot very grainy with the flash.

I'm in love with the design of it. I wouldn't call it in any way feeble. Frankly if I had a talent for painting 'china dollish' masks - I'd have a new profession. :P

What I find interesting about this is that you can see the room through the mirror ; but at the same time you are getting a glimpse at what the mask is seeing.
Woah..I never thoguht of that before...that is interesting. I need to take another one of the Ice mask I made. It's not as nice as this one though..
I'm sure it's lovely. ^'^
Good idea and well shot here, great photo!
